Jake Checketts

I was born in Seoul, Korea and was adopted by amazing parents who raised my sisters and me in Preston, Idaho. The small-town life provided a couple of things:
1) a love for the outdoors and adventure and
2) a community of wonderful people who all worked together to raise me. 

I met and married my spouse in Logan, UT and graduated from Utah State University with a bachelor’s in psychology. I am the father of three amazing, intelligent, and fun children, and husband to an amazingly talented, supportive, and beautiful wife. In my spare time I love fly fishing, hunting, mountain biking, camping, and skiing with my family and friends.

Professionally, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who loves to work with individuals and families hoping to better their lives. I engage in ACT, EFT, CBT and DBT skills in working with my clients to overcome and navigate challenges. I enjoy working with clients trying to understand and navigate the tension that can arise with sexuality and spirituality.
