Certified Social Worker (CSW)
Hi, I’m Alexsis. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure where to start, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to figure it out by yourself.
I work with children, teens, young adults, adults, couples, and families, with a special focus on children, adolescents and young adults navigating anxiety, mood challenges, identity questions, relationships, and major life transitions. Many of the people I work with feel emotionally exhausted, disconnected, or unsure of themselves, and therapy becomes a place to slow down, feel understood, and start moving forward again.
My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), but more than anything, I focus on what works for you. Therapy with me isn’t about being told what to do—it’s about understanding yourself more clearly, building practical coping skills, and gaining confidence in how you show up in your life and relationships.
I support clients working through anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, addiction recovery, personality-related challenges, and relationship concerns. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe being honest, supported in your growth, and empowered to make meaningful, lasting change.
Outside of therapy, I enjoy traveling, baking, crafting, and spending time outdoors with my dog—things that help me stay grounded and present, both personally and professionally.
