Support for Parents & Caregivers

SPACE: Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions

A therapy group for parents and caregivers of someone struggling with OCD.

Learn practical ways to support your loved one, reduce family accommodations that may unintentionally reinforce OCD, respond more effectively to anxiety and OCD behaviors, and communicate support and confidence.

Supporting Your Loved One While Changing the Family Response

When someone you care about is struggling with OCD, family members and caregivers may find themselves responding in ways intended to reduce distress or make difficult situations easier.

The SPACE Therapy Group helps parents and caregivers learn practical ways to support their loved one while recognizing and changing family responses that may unintentionally reinforce OCD.

Participants will learn how to reduce accommodations, respond more effectively to anxiety and OCD behaviors, and communicate both support and confidence as family patterns begin to change.
